I recently had this takeaway classic during a trip to the beautiful country of Ireland. I have to say, it's one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten so I had to re-create it at home! Imagine it as chips loaded with fried chicken and spices and you'll start to get the idea. The question is - do you have curry sauce or not?

Pick which supermarket you want to send your ingredients to:
Ingredients
bell pepper ½ (diced)
onion ½ (diced)
paprika 1 tsp
Chinese 5 spice 1 tsp
garlic powder ½ tsp
chilli powder ½ tsp
oven chips 0.5 kg
chicken nuggets 0.5 kg
olive oil dash
Method
Preheat your air fryer to 180°C. (You can also cook the chips and chicken in a conventional oven - please refer to the back of pack cooking instructions and allow yourself extra time to make this recipe).
Scatter the chips into the air fryer drawer then cook for 12 minutes, shaking a couple of times. Add the chicken nuggets to the chips and cook for another 10 minutes until golden.
Meanwhile, dice the bell pepper and onion. Heat a dash of oil in a hot wok or pan, then stir-fry the pepper and onion for 2 - 3 minutes.
Add the cooked chips and chicken into the pan then scatter over all the spices- chilli powder, garlic powder, Chinese 5 spice, paprika. Mix well and cook for another minute. Season to taste how you like it.
Plate up and enjoy! You can add some optional curry sauce if you like.
