Homemade pizzas built on a simple two-ingredient self-raising flour dough, so there's no yeast and no waiting for it to rise. Jamie’s Tip - you can swap in veg oil for olive oil, if that’s what you’ve got,
and Cheddar or red Leicester for mozzarella. You can also use chipotla sausages for a topping if you like - simply squeeze the sausage meat out of the casings and crumble it on top before baking. Also delicious served with a crunchy green salad.

Ingredients
garlic cloves 2 (sliced)
olive oil 1 tbsp
tinned plum tomatoes 400 g
sea salt pinch
black pepper pinch
self raising flour 400 g
red onion ½ (sliced)
broccoli 150 g
mozzarella cheese ball 80 g (torn)
Method
Make the tomato sauce
Peel and finely slice the garlic.
Place the garlic in a pan on a medium heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and fry until golden.
Scrunch in the tinned plum tomatoes(or tip in and break up with a spoon as you go), simmer for 5 minutes, or until thickened slightly.
Season to taste with sea salt and black pepper, then remove from the heat and set aside.
Make the dough
Preheat the oven to 220°C and rub the inside of a 25cm x 35cm baking tray with olive oil.
Tip the self raising flour into a mixing bowl, add a pinch of salt and make a well in the middle.
Pour in 250ml of water, then use a fork to stir and bring in the flour from the outside to form a dough – when the dough starts to come together, dust your hands with flour and pat it into a ball.
Knead on a flour-dusted surface for a few minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 4 pieces, then roll and stretch each one into a 20cm round or oval.
Add the toppings & bake
Thinly slice the red onion. Cut the broccoli into florets.
Spread each pizza base generously with the tomato sauce, then tear over the mozzarella.
Scatter the red onion and broccoli on top.
Drizzle lightly with olive oil, then bake on the top shelf of the oven for 10 minutes, or until golden and puffed up.
Serve straight away, also delicious with a crunchy green salad.
